I work with my clients to better understand how they came to think and feel the way that they do. Gaining insight into perceptions of self and how one relates to others can introduce exciting new perspectives — ones that can help in meeting life’s obstacles with more clarity and confidence.
I strive to bring an anti-oppressive lens to my practice. As a member of the LGTBQ community, I try to bring an understanding of how both privilege and oppression show up in the therapeutic relationship.
